The wings are excellent and there are many different sauces to choose from. I would also recommend the waffle fries. The delivery service is usually very fast. Sometimes they'll forget to put in your dipping sauces or make a small mistake on the order, but overall a great place to get delivery in State College.

If you are going to get wings delivered, get them from Wings Over Happy Valley. Food is always good, they're open late, and delivery is usually pretty fast. I usually get the Cajun Teriyaki, Jamacian Jerk, Honey BBQ wings. Those have never let me down. The actual place is located pretty far from downtown so you would never walk here. The place is that good that I've got them on speed dial on my phone. I've probably ordered from this place at least 30 times. It's always a place that brings back memories.

If I went back in time and decided to go to PSU instead of where I did, and Wings Over was there, I would have gained the freshman 150#, not the freshman 15. Oh yeah. Will be back next year for THON.

For the longest time, I was a loyal customer to canyon until Wings Over won me over. They deliver extremely quick unlike Canyon that has made me wait over 2 hours. I also think there prices and packages are better. Fries, wings, and a soda for under 10. Who can say no? I love their garlic parmesan boneless wings and also there regular wings with the cajun rub. Don't get me wrong, I still love canyon because no one can replace my love for spicy ranch, but if I'm not ordering spicy ranch wings, I definitely hit up Wings Over.

I have never ate in, only ordered take out or delivery. Great wings and sides! Would recommend for both an easy game day dinner, or for the late night munchies :) Awesome sauces too!

Hey kids, enjoy Wings Over while you have it. Someday you'll grow up, move to a big city, and find that places that deliver wings like this don't exist everywhere in the world. As we returned to Happy Valley for Adult Spring Break we ordered Wings Over for lunch on a Satuday. We ordered delivery of about 1.5 lbs of Boneless Jamaican Jerk wings and I had a paper airplane (7) chipotle bbq wings. Because we were in a hotel and didn't have any plates or utensils, we requested those be brought with our delivery. The girl that took our call said she wasn't sure if they had plates, but she would see what she could do. Our wings arrived and our delivery guy let us know that he didn't have the plates, BUT another driver would be bringing them by in 5 minutes. 5 minutes later we had our plates! 5 stars for service! As for the food, just like they always were, the wings were big and very good!

I found 2 feathers in the bone-in wings I ordered. Yes, feathers are part of a chicken, but there needs to be some quality control. They also have forgotten the drink I ordered with my food several times. I'm definitely not impressed. I don't recommend ordering from them. Just do yourself a favor and go to Quaker Steak & Lube. Better flavors, better prices.

OMGOZZLE WINGS OVER! As I dream about my college days I am pensive over their fast service and delicious wings. One day they dropped off our wing order in eight minutes. Their wings are to die for, some of the best delivery of State College, you can't go wrong. Make sure you get your super bowl orders in at least a week in advance.

Many a night, I would come back from a fiesta and order these wings. They are a special treat when you're really feeling it. I've never had chicken so good. The sauces are great. Truthfully, they're pretty much the best wings you'll find in State College. I haven't found better wings anywhere. My order: half pound of Kickin BBQ boneless. My one roommate had a pretty devilish addiction to Wings Over. It took him from us over the fall 2014-spring 2015 semester. We tried to take him to many rehab clinics over his addiction, but they said chicken wings weren't a drug....apparently. These wings are so good, you might just want to never grow up and leave State.

After trying the wings for the first time last week and getting the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th hottest buffalo wings they had needless to say I was slightly surprised when the delivery man showed up with only one box, with all of the sauces mixed together. I figured I would just be eating spicy food and it seems like a "common mistake" by reading previous reviews. The wings were delicious, hence the 2 stars. Now my major gripe begins. Parents were in town this weekend so after saying how good they were based off my very spicy wings, I convinced everyone to order "wings over!" After carefully picking flavors and asking the woman if we could have separate boxes for our 3 different flavored and spiced wings, we were told "we don't so that here." Excuse me? You can't separate flavors into boxes for a pick up order? Such a shame. Would've most likely given a glaring review, but this is a basic and senile management choice. Like ordering different meals at a restaurant and being given it all together on one plate. Huge mistake for something so easily fixable.

I cannot believe the speed with which they deliver. I ordered upstairs, came downstairs, food was there. Witchcraft.

LOVE THE honey bBQ!! I grew here and now live in New Orleans, Everytime I come home to visit we order from here at least twice.

Went there last night at around 1 am.Wings were ok.They were definitely frozen. Also had an order of waffle fries that were on the cold side. But I was looking for a quick inexpensive snack and that's what I got.The people behind the counter were friendly.

Good drunk food, or study food. They have both dry rubs and sauces that you can put on the wings. My favorite thing was to get cajun waffle fries with nacho cheese instead of fries. If you order over the phone or on wings over site they don't charge you the processing fee that lionsmenu/order up charges you. This isn't the top of the gourmet food pyramid but you can expect delivery extremely fast, food will be hot and you wont be hungry after eating.

I usually like wings over, but the delivery driver today called me a thief. I'm not happy with the outcome.

The best wings in happy valley for sure. It is a little pricey but still it is worth it. They can afford to be pricey because people will not stop ordering from wingsover. The different levels of hot are substantial. Some places it does not matter what level you order you're getting the same wings. Not this place. I always usually get kickin bbq and one of the buffalo flavors. I will warn you that the boneless wings are chicken tenders with sauce on it. Although I guess that is what boneless wings are, the chicken are big pieces, which makes it more of a chicken tender. I like it nonetheless but some people might not. The delivery is also the fastest in state college. I kid you not I got my order in 12 minutes. 12 minutes!! If you're going to order delivery call don't use orderup or their website. There is extra fees to doing that. You can avoid those by calling.

Wow!! The food was great! I got the hot garlic boneless wings and they are easily some of the best I have had in state college. One star off because of the terrible diarrhea that occurred after eating this. Bum is on fire. Would probably give it another try.

I get delivery from here all the time. They are super fast, the food is awesome and relatively cheap. You can pay a lot more at other places and not get near as much food. Definitely the best delivery drunk food in state college .

First time having their wings, over Happy Valley. Perfectly cooked, with 3 sauces. All delicious. The 7 pepper were my favorite, a dry rub wing. Crispy, spicy, and flavorful. Spicy garlic and sweet chili were also both very good. I'll be back for sure.

The Food: (Average) The boneless wings at Wings Over Happy Valley are my personal favorite. The chicken is always juicy and cooked properly, the chicken breading is exploding with that great guilty pleasure of deep fried goodness, and the variety of sauces will satisfy most guests; however if you are looking for ghost pepper level heat, maybe look elsewhere. DC-3 Boneless with Cruisin Altitiude Buffalo Sauce is my go-to. As a note, this is a place where you order unhealthy chicken meats and indulge in the guilty pleasure of it.; the food overall, however, is standard for the category. The Atmosphere: (Below Average) Considering this place is primarily trying to make deep-fried chicken and ready-it for pick-up, it is somewhat gray on how to rate the atmosphere. Overall, it seems like little attention has been paid to providing a welcoming waiting area and little emphasis has been shown for promoting the brand. You essentially walk into a off-white colored room with a counter/cash register, several chairs, and soda fridge. No more, no less. The Price: (Average) This is not the cheapest order-out in town, but the quality and amount of food seems appropriate for the price. Ordering from here every night might be bad for your wallet, though (..and your health) The Service: (Below Average) This is a busy place with busy workers. They ask your name and give you food. No more, no less. Overall: Really tasty wings to satisfy your deep-fried food urges, go get you some!

The best wings I have had in State College area and ranks in my top 3 ever! Great variety of sauces, wings were juicy, and person taking my order over the phone was very patient. I wish the different styles of wings weren't mixed in the same container, and I never got my 2 liter bottle of soda I paid for. Other than that, I will go here every time from now on for wings.

The flavor of Honey BBQ is really good! It served with French Fries and a drink for the combo!

What are these other reviewers smoking? I can only assume this is late night drunk food, the place has gone way down hill, or the cooks themselves were still hungover. I really have nothing positive to say about this place other than the prices are good and the behind-the-counter staff was friendly. 1.) Although not figured into my rating, this store has more than sufficient sq. ft. for a half dozen tables, but there are none. Prepare to eat on the sidewall, in your car, or take it somewhere else. 2.) The wings were soggy and greasy, which I found bizarre since we were 3rd in line right as they opened. We tried both bone-in and boneless offerings, and both were not crispy -- not even close. 3.) The flavors were bland. I had hot garlic and found them neither the least bit spicy nor any hint of garlic. My wife got honey mustard and both of us looked at each other as if they forgot the honey and the mustard. 4.) Given #2 and #3, I'm beginning to wonder if the cooks are incompetent. Both of these SERIOUS wing flaws suggest the oil was under temperature, causing the wings to be soggy and seriously greasy, which doesn't allow the sauce to "stick" at the end. 5.) Fries were also mushy. 6.) They offer ranch or bleu, and yet no celery (not to mention no napkins). Maybe someone can bring me some that are more representative of the other reviews, because these 4/5 star reviews are baffling. Would love to hear back from mgmt.

On my recent trip to Penn State I took full advantage of my college experience and ordered from Wings Over (Happy Valley). My friend's little brother, a current junior at Penn State, told me that this place had the best wings ever. Since most juniors in college think 2 week old pizza tastes delicious, I didn't take his recommendation too seriously. At 2am I reconsidered and decided wings were necessary so why not try this place. While I may not agree that the wings are "the best ever" I did think they were very good and was pretty impressed. I liked all the sauces and spices that were available. I personally liked the Honey BBQ and Garlic Parmesan the best, but my memory is a little fuzzy so I may need to test all the flavors again. I was happy to find out there's a Wings Over in the Boston area.

People have been hyping this place up like no other. All I hear is "Dude, try Wings Over. It's so legit." Well, I finally decided to try this place out and it's kind of a mixed bag. First of all, this place does beat out Hooters hands down. Sure, it doesn't have the eye candy, but the wings are much better tasting. There are tons of flavors to choose from, from sweet to spicy, and some "sides" like onion rings and french fries. I actually thought that the onion rings were pretty damn decent. This place delivers pretty quickly, but you can also call/order online and pick it up. Ok, so why the 3 stars you may ask? Well, after eating these wings, I got a horrible stomach ache. One of those aches that makes you want to stab yourself in the leg. Not sure how clean these things are, being that all their locations are in college towns, so I'm not 100% surprised. These are the best wings in State College. Perhaps I'll gain the courage to try these out once more, as long as I don't get another case of the stomach aches.

DO NOT ORDER MULTIPLE FLAVORS FOR DELIVERY OR PICK UP!!! Some of the most legit wings in the State College area. I used order up and was excited for multiple flavors. This place is easily a 4 but I had to deduct a star for my only complaint. I ordered 3 regular flavors and 2 dry flavors, picked up my order, got home, opened the box and ALL of the wings were mixed together!?! I couldn't tell you what any single flavor tasted like because they mixed them all together. This may be cool with the resident drunk frat kid, but my wife and I were looking forward to sampling the different flavors. They could have at least separated the dry wings from the sauced wings (shakes fist!) I will be getting wings from here again but sticking to one flavor at a time.

These wings were terrible. They were not crispy, they had some sort of gross breading, and the sauce was not good (vinegary). Maybe I am spoiled because I am from Buffalo, but I would avoid this place as the food isn't even really worth eating.

I know it's a chain. I know that it's far, far away from where I am now (LA). But with the multitude of wing choices available in this city and others, none have compared to the style and sauce choices, as well as meatiness, of a Wings Over. It's the only place where you get your moneys worth, especially on boneless wings. A plethora of BBQ sauces and dry rubs and the huge wings per order kept me coming back time and again when I lived in State College. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that in one delivery from them, the delivery person decided to tack on his own tip to my unsuspecting partner's charge slip after we gave him a cash tip, and that was not cool. It's theft plain and simple. I contacted the manager but they felt it was a he said/he said situation though they did offer a discount for our next order. I don't think we ever ordered delivery from them again though we did pick up. Check 'em out if there's one near your locale (none on the west coast at the moment). But always remember, for this place and others, if you pay by charge and leave a cash tip, cross a line through the tip space.

Wings Galore! My girlfriends and I can really GRUB when we want to. We ordered the B-Bomber which is about 25 Wings. We got a mix of the Spicy Teriyaki & Kickin BBQ. There are lots of other flavors/combinations. Their fries are just OK but they do throw in celery.

Dare I say, best wings in Happy Valley? Too bad they don't deliver up North Atherton. 'Hot Garlic' is like an aphrodisiac!

Hands down the best place to get wings in Happy Valley. Great selection and wonderful delivery time. I order probably once a week!

For walk in orders which is what I usually do, this place is very quick in getting your order done properly. I enjoy ordering the Ribs and Chicken which is a half rack of ribs, 1/2 lb of boneless wings, and french fries which leaves me very full and most of the times I have some left over for the next day. I am not a fan of very hot wings and enjoy the many diverse different flavors that this place offers.

I've gotten wings from them 2 or 5 times. They have relatively fast delivery, but each time there has been a small hassle and pretty good wings. The small hassle relates to getting the wings 'wet', which I like. It turns out you can ask for them not just extra wet, a setting, but I probably have to ask for them extra extra wet (a setting they have on their internal order menu. But, now they tell me that is 0.50 extra. I just want "plenty of sauce", but apparently, my plenty is beyond theirs. hmm. They are also not cheap, but are pretty good. the clerks used to be pretty snotty, now they are just apologetic about extra extra sauce being extra (but, probably worth it on a large order). And, since their move, they are slowly updating the various web sites to note that they are no longer in westerly parkway, but in the hamilton plaza. (yelp has it right, they are inconsistent in aug 2012). So, I'm still looking for a better go-to wing place, but for now, they are it at 3 stars.

Our favorite wings in State College were Quaker Stake & Lube. We thought they were the best in town. But since they are no longer in State College, we were trying to find a good replacement. We've been trying for a while and had not tried Wings Over Happy Valley yet. Well, we are happy to say, we are very pleased with our experience with Wings Over Happy Valley. We ordered 50 Buffalo Style and got a mix of hotness. We ordered 10 of the 2's (Cruisin Altitude), 20 of the 3's (Red Alert) and 20 of the 4's (Jet Fuel). We really wanted something that had a kick. Nothing too wimpy. We were very happy that they were hot. Yes, we were pleasantly surprised. They were indeed hot! Like a previous Yelper wrote: "The only place in State College where 'hot' flavoring for wings is actually 'hot' not tepid." Great choice of words! We totally agree. We will most definitely order again!

Two words: Blackened Cajun. Wings Over Happy Valley kept me fueled for a CRAZY super senior year at Penn State. They have different kinds of portion sizes helps (sorta) with portion control for those of us who are addicted to these. From the DC3 at half-a-pound to Zeppelin at 6 pounds...WOHV has parties of all sizes covered. They're sauces are all flavorful...but sometimes that ALL you taste. I usually stick to the dry rubs: Blackened Cajun and Garlic Parm. They do have sandwhiches and wraps as well as sides ... so there's something for everyone who likes this grilled/fried genre of food. There's about 3 to 4 food-stops I make each time I'm in town ... this has to be one of them.

Great wings, but they don't answer the phone when advertised... Sure it's the night after the fourth, but, they say they're open, so be open. disappointed.

  • Jimmy K.

Definitely the best wings in State College. You can get them boned or boneless, and they still taste great. They also happen to have the quickest delivery in State College. If you want wings, you can not go wrong with Wings Over.

  • Meghan B.

On more than one occasion we had wings, boneless wings, and fries delivered. It tastes ok, but they box up the food when it is so hot that it steams up the container and everything is wet and mushy when it arrives. Very disappointing.

  • Gaurav S.

Great wings. Superb delivery service. Good selection of sauces. I love their waffle fries with cajun seasoning. Regular fries, meh. Ribs, atrocious. But wings, good. I especially recommend this if you're feeling like Adam Richman and want to set yourself or a friend a "spicy challenge" Man V Food style. The only place in State College where "hot" flavoring for wings is actually "hot" not tepid. A year or so back, a friend and I (both Indians) decided to order wings "afterburner" their hottest flavor. Being Indians, and having well-above-average tolerance for spice, I've always found the hottest wings in most places very normal. But the Afterburner is true to its name. It is REALLY spicy. Yet flavorful My friend and I were laughing and crying alternately as we finished the wings. Since then I have "challenged" a couple of other friends to an Afterburner challenge. All have been pleasantly surprised and blown away by the spiciness. I have tried the hottest wings at Quaker Steak and Lube (in Pittsburgh) and Buffalo Wild Wings (in DC) and these afterburners are certainly in the same league. So yeah, if you consider yourself a connoisseur of spicy-hotness, and have some friends who'd like to make a game of it, try eating 7 afterburners. Other sauces are good too.

Wings Over Happy Valley is delicious. While I attended Penn State, it was by far my number one choice for wings in the area. Not only are they delicious, but they aren't very expensive, and they deliver to you within 10-15 minutes. Overall a great place for wings and I would recommend to anyone visiting State College. Whenever I go back to visit, I always try to order some WOHV.

Not much to add to what others have already said. Wings are good, but a little on the fatty side. Lots of sauces to choose from, most are excellent. Cajun BBQ is my favorite. Spicy (but not just hot), with a clear blend of cajun spices in a pretty tick generously applied sauce. As pointed out by others, the ribs are bad. Specifically, they are the worst ribs I've ever had. They were so hard I needed a fork and knife, and the sauce was a commercal dark BBQ sauce they was probably just added as they reheated the pre-cooked ribs in the over. I didn't even finish them: I had a peanut-butter sandwich instead. Fries are ok. Great flavors, free & fast delivery. Definiely would order from them again.

WOHV definitely has my favorite wings, and it will be one of the things I will miss the most when I leave State College. We live nearby yet we still get delivery and it is always speedy and reliable. I always get the boneless wings, so I can't comment on their bone-in wings or other menu items like the wraps and ribs. The wings are usually perfectly sauced and the meat is juicy and perfectly breaded as well.I have no clue what their sauce recipes are, but there is something about their regular BBQ and Kickin' BBQ that is out of this world, and I haven't had better BBQ wings elsewhere. I haven't tried any of the other flavors besides the BBQ ones because I am so in love with it, but reading some of these reviews makes me want to try others.

I'm not a wings and things kinda girl, but felt like being festive and decided to have them, along with everyone else in State College, on Superbowl Sunday. Stopped in to order some an hour before game time. I was told they were operating by delivery only. I was given a wait time of two hours. Not even an hour later, my garlic parm and honey bbq wings had arrived. The bad side was the majority of the garlic parm wings were burnt. The amazing part about this whole situation was the way they handled it. Now, I realize they should not have been burnt to begin with, but WOHV really has some excellent customer service. Not only were new wings sent out, they arrived at my house in under ten minutes. I can't even drive there that quick. I have no idea how they did it but because they did, I give them 5 stars.

I love the portions on the boneless wings I just wish they had less batter. Great comfort food. Prices could be a little cheaper but what are you gonna do. You gotta get your wing over

GOD I MISS WINGS OVER HAPPY VALLEY!! I USED TO ORDER DINNER FROM THEM EVERY NIGHT when I was in college!! It's so hard to find such inexpensive and tasty wings over here in New York City!!! God I Miss those boneless yummy deliciousness!!!

  • Mike C.

I've only had the bone-in wings because that's what I consider to be wings. They're very okay. I've had way better (I like wings crispy and meaty), but these are far from the worst that I've ever had. That being said, they're probably the best wing joint in State College, including customer service. Quick delivery (I don't even know where the actual store is), good hours, had them delivered to the HUB a couple times when doing lots of work. Recommended.

Plan on not eating for the rest of the day if you get Wings Over! Wings Over delivers but it is a 20 minute walk from campus. The wings are delicious with a small variety of sauces. I got the Aircraft Carrier(over $100) with 7 other people and it destroyed us(boneless and boned wings, ribs, soda, fries, another side). Expect leftover food unless you can eat it all.

    (4)
  • Jane Y.

Best wings I've had so far. Many flavors to choose from and the to go place for take out. They also deliver within 15 mins if you live in downtown State College, but don't expect that rate on superbowl sundays.

    (5)
  • Marlee S.

I got 25 wings from them today in sweet onion bbq, honey bbq, garlic parmesan, hot garlic, and cajun bbq. They put them all in the same box, so it was a bit difficult to distinguish between the flavors. I think it was the hot garlic that doesn't actually come saucy though. It doesn't look like it has much on it at all. Those wings tasted a bit drier than the others too. Still, the flavors are pretty good, and if I get another wing craving I'll call them up. Quick delivery - that was great! Ditto to the previous review about the napkins - why don't they include any?

  • Jen M.

Delicious wings! Boned or boneless. Quick delivary. Just so yummy. Tons of different flavors and 5 levels of spicy! Good waffle fries too! If you ask me, it is the only choice for wings in State College... I'm sure others are good, but I just can't stop ordering Wings Over!

  • Megan K.

Honestly, most college kids love this place, I find it over rated, just not my favorite style of wings, tried a few flavors and I have had better. They deliver and have a ton of flavors, most people probably like it, I just did not.

Good portions for a reasonable price. Tastes pretty good too, especially if it's late at night or you're craving wings.

BEST. WINGS. EVER. boneless, bone in, buffalo, garlic parmesean, honey mustard, bbq, jamaican jerk, the list goes on and on and on and on. I wish this place existed everywhere.

He says: I was overjoyed to see Wings Over reach State College. I've had them in Hartford and in Worcester. This franchise was entirely up to par with the other ones. Their wings are good, fairly large, and have a wide selection of flavors. With that said, their buffalo flavor is my favorite, probably followed by honey BBQ. Of course, their biggest draw is that they deliver. So, if you want 'em, they're only a phone call away. She says: Was introduced to this place by him. I love this place. You get yummy wings for a reasonable price, and you can try all sorts of flavors. I usually like the regular buffalo and BBQ stuff -- I didn't like the more unusual flavors (e.g., Asian flavors or garlic parmesan type stuff) as much. The bleu cheese dip is the best I've ever had -- and I'm not even a bleu cheese fan in general. Every time we order from this place, I feel like I'm getting a real treat, as he usually treats me. :) We both like: Promotional plastic cups they gave. Happy memories in Happy Valley.

Wings Over has some of the best, cheapest wings in State College. They have a large variety of wing sauces and they deliver in a flash. The only thing holding me back from a 5-star review would be that I don't think their waffle fries are very good, and every so often the wings are a bit mushy, I think from the steam in the container. But other than that, love this place a lot.

I've ordered from here about 4 or 5 times, mainly at peak hours on Friday or Saturday nights. The service is always outstanding and I have rarely had to wait more than 10 or 15 minutes for my pickup order to be ready. The staff at the counter are always very friendly and you can tell that everyone here works hard to keep the customer happy. To date I have only ever ordered their boneless wings, which I usually get in the 1/2lb Hang Glider combo that comes with a small fries and can of soda ($9). Originally I was put off by the high price, but the quantity and quality that you receive is totally worth it. The boneless wings are not the typical bite-size frozen variety that most places serve, they are large (like the size of chicken fingers) and they taste fresh, not frozen. If you like spicy, I suggest trying Jet Fuel which I think is the best combo of taste/heat. In conclusion (hope there aren't any english teachers reading this), I enjoy Wings Over and look forward to ordering from there a few times a month. As far as wings go, they're the best bet that I've found in Happy Valley

In 1725, our founding father George Washington once said, "If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter." Well, he might as well said like chicken to the slaughter because chicken wings are by far the greatest invention of America since gunpowder. Which the Chinese invented. Wings Over Happy Valley is greatness in a chicken wing. It's not Wings Over Ithaca and it's definitely not Wing's over Columbus, OH. It's Wings Over Happy Valley, the happiest of valleys in all of PA. Originally, this review was going to be on the negative side, as there was a long strand of hair found in the midst of my honey mustard chicken wing. However, after a thorough DNA analysis of the hair strand, my colleagues and I concluded that is in fact a piece of hair that belonged to a sloppy bimbo named Chrysel. Thank goodness we conducted this test before reviewing Wings Over Happy Valley. Anyway, let's get into the review. Out of all the wings in State College, Wings Over is the best. Though they aren't the best wings I've eaten, in middle-of-nowhere Pennsylvania, it stands tall as State College's best. The luscious taste of the honey barbecue wings, the tongue-thrilling taste of the afterburner, and the enriching taste of Wings Over bleu cheese. It seriously takes you on a journey through ecstasy and euphoria that not even a tab of LSD can induce. The speed of the delivery is also very en pointe. Or on point. I'm not actually quite sure on how to use that phrase. As residence of downtown State College, Wings Over is certainly too far to trek. However, the agile performance of the Wings Over delivery boys (shout out to my boy Will Levine), the good people of College Township will never go hungry. It's as if Wings Over is the dark knight of PSU. I've never had food delivered to my doorstep as fast as Wings Over. However, I'm quite disappointed that certain delivery boys do not come to the actual doorstep of my apartment. This calls for a loss of half a star. The other loss of a half star is due to the vast choices of flavors that are very similar to one another. Often times, it is baffling to keep track of flavors, and many times, I am unsure of what I want to order. Honey mustard vs. honey barbeque vs. barbeque. Ain't nobody got time for that. I wish that we could have free samples of these wings before actually ordering to make our experience at Wings Over much more enjoyable. Closing statements: I love wings, I love State College, and I love Wings Over. As an experienced Yelper, you have my blessing as my favorite chicken wing hotspot in town, next to Canyon Wings. and Zen wings. Thank you.

Pretty good wings. The sauces are all flavorful and different enough to provide diverse menu options. The chicken was not anything I would rave over, but it was satisfying and we enjoyed our meal. I've had better wings, but not in State College.

The best wings on the planet. One of the best parts about going to Penn State.

Oh my goodness, now THESE people got wings! I've never been to any locations of Wings Over so I can't really comment on the chain as a whole. I mentioned this place on a thread about the hottest things I've eaten. One day while studying, my friend and I decided to order some DC-10's, some with honey barbecue and some with afterburner sauce. Let's just say that the barbecue ones finished relatively faster than those afterburners. My saving grace for those afterburners was only the bleu cheese and ranch. Jeebus, those were some really hot wings; I felt like I was breathing fire, which would have been wonderful if I wanted to burn my physiology book at the time. They were pretty good with delivery and everything was piping hot from what I remember. Pretty good service and provided a very fond memory :)

The wings and the boneless wings are pretty crispy and they have a huge variety of different flavors. I go for the asian sesame or the golden BBQ. Delivery is always super quick and food is always fantastic

Good wings. Although, they were not worth the food poisoning, nor the trip to the emergency department.

By far the best place to get a great variety of wings in State College. They are also extremely fast with delivery! I have been working my way through trying all of the flavors that they offer. My favorite flavors are hot garlic and garlic parmesan. Boneless is the way to go. My only suggestion would be for them to make sure to include napkins. One too many times did I have wings delivered and I needed napkins but had none.

If you buy anything other than wings here, you're doing it wrong; just ignore the ribs and fries entirely, they're subpar. That said, Wings Over does one thing right, wings. Decent selection of flavors and typically don't overcharge. Only other complaint I can lodge is the delivery area - it's pitifully small ranging only to the downtown area and the hotels up North Atherton.

Tasty wings, but incredibly slow if you buy direct from the store.

THE BEST WINGS I EVER HAD!! Spicy, big, boneless and absolutely delicious! There's no where to eat in, but who cares? The prices aren't bad either. I wish the franchise would come to California.

Pretty good wings and fast delivery. What can be better??!! If you like them with a kick, get the "afterburner" sauce.

Ordered wings and a wrap to watch the game. Waited over an hour for the food when it got here it was cold. The driver did not have on any clothing that identified him as an employee. The driver and the people and answering the phones were rude and unprofessional, I will not go into the dirty details but check your bill and double check your tip before you let them leave. I will never order from here the food was OK at best and their employees are unprofessional to say the least.

The flavor of Honey BBQ is really good! It served with French Fries and a drink for the combo!

  • Drew W.

Wow!! The food was great! I got the hot garlic boneless wings and they are easily some of the best I have had in state college. One star off because of the terrible diarrhea that occurred after eating this. Bum is on fire. Would probably give it another try.

    (1)
  • Rick S.

These wings were terrible. They were not crispy, they had some sort of gross breading, and the sauce was not good (vinegary). Maybe I am spoiled because I am from Buffalo, but I would avoid this place as the food isn't even really worth eating.

Definitely the best wings in State College. You can get them boned or boneless, and they still taste great. They also happen to have the quickest delivery in State College. If you want wings, you can not go wrong with Wings Over.

On more than one occasion we had wings, boneless wings, and fries delivered. It tastes ok, but they box up the food when it is so hot that it steams up the container and everything is wet and mushy when it arrives. Very disappointing.

    (4)
  • Jimmy K.

Definitely the best wings in State College. You can get them boned or boneless, and they still taste great. They also happen to have the quickest delivery in State College. If you want wings, you can not go wrong with Wings Over.

    (4)

    (5)
  • Hartej S.

  • Brian B.

  • Jake S.

Great wings, but they don't answer the phone when advertised... Sure it's the night after the fourth, but, they say they're open, so be open. disappointed.

    (5)
  • Matt O.

Pretty good wings. The sauces are all flavorful and different enough to provide diverse menu options. The chicken was not anything I would rave over, but it was satisfying and we enjoyed our meal. I've had better wings, but not in State College.

Some of the worst service I have ever received. I do not know how they call themselves a food service establishment. they are not worthy of including the word wings in their name. our cashier, Arthur, was a very precocious fellow with guy liner who refused to give me free water-unacceptable especially when wings are such a spicy food. also they refused to let us try the sauces and claimed they were "too busy" for that when there were only 2 other customers there. is it so absurd that we wanted to try something before we spent $20 on it?! wings were subpar. I'm not impressed and will not be back. not worth the hype or the long trek to get there. 10/10 would not recommend.

Went there last night at around 1 am.Wings were ok.They were definitely frozen. Also had an order of waffle fries that were on the cold side. But I was looking for a quick inexpensive snack and that's what I got.The people behind the counter were friendly.

  • Chris C.

    (5)
  • Mark S.

    (2)
  • Michael W.

    (3)
  • Greg U.

I usually like wings over, but the delivery driver today called me a thief. I'm not happy with the outcome.

    (1)
  • Rick S.

    (4)
  • Drew W.

Wow!! The food was great! I got the hot garlic boneless wings and they are easily some of the best I have had in state college. One star off because of the terrible diarrhea that occurred after eating this. Bum is on fire. Would probably give it another try.

    (4)
  • Tim D.

I get delivery from here all the time. They are super fast, the food is awesome and relatively cheap. You can pay a lot more at other places and not get near as much food. Definitely the best delivery drunk food in state college .

  • Michael C.

    (5)
  • Abhishek M.

Dare I say, best wings in Happy Valley? Too bad they don't deliver up North Atherton. 'Hot Garlic' is like an aphrodisiac!

Hands down the best place to get wings in Happy Valley. Great selection and wonderful delivery time. I order probably once a week!

  • Megan B.

    (4)
  • Ryan Z.

The wings are excellent and there are many different sauces to choose from. I would also recommend the waffle fries. The delivery service is usually very fast. Sometimes they'll forget to put in your dipping sauces or make a small mistake on the order, but overall a great place to get delivery in State College.

    (4)
  • Michael W.

    (3)
  • Chris C.

  • Party G.

If I went back in time and decided to go to PSU instead of where I did, and Wings Over was there, I would have gained the freshman 150#, not the freshman 15. Oh yeah. Will be back next year for THON.

  • Obrien T.

Thank you.

    (4)
  • Amy W.

I order from here all the time. Food is mouth watering good. As far as wings go, they're second to none in State college.

    (5)
  • Brian G.

  • Marc C.

  • Anjali M.

Best wings I've had so far. Many flavors to choose from and the to go place for take out. They also deliver within 15 mins if you live in downtown State College, but don't expect that rate on superbowl sundays.

Delicious wings! Boned or boneless. Quick delivary. Just so yummy. Tons of different flavors and 5 levels of spicy! Good waffle fries too! If you ask me, it is the only choice for wings in State College... I'm sure others are good, but I just can't stop ordering Wings Over!

Thank you.

These wings were terrible. They were not crispy, they had some sort of gross breading, and the sauce was not good (vinegary). Maybe I am spoiled because I am from Buffalo, but I would avoid this place as the food isn't even really worth eating.

Pretty good wings. The sauces are all flavorful and different enough to provide diverse menu options. The chicken was not anything I would rave over, but it was satisfying and we enjoyed our meal. I've had better wings, but not in State College.
